Survey increasingly targeted by malware found in smartphones

SUNNYVALE, Calif., June 26 (UPI) - Malware rapidly, in the past year, Google's Android smartphones, the Android operating system is targeting its biggest hit, a U.S. networking firm said Wednesday.

As networking technology company Juniper Networks, a survey report, Google's mobile malware to Android phones running operating system attacks targeting with 92% March 2013 through March 2012 increased six-fold .

Numbers in the exploitation of mobile devices increase in interest shown by cyber criminals, made a Juniper.



This market with around 75 percent of global domination to Android smartphones target field, Juniper said the open platform and operating system nature of the attacks makes it more vulnerable.

Some malware such as Google Play and Apple App Store has found its way into official channels, while third-party vendors are more problems with malware, Toubba is.

"This market provides little to no review process that includes popular targets," he said.
