Patna: Twenty children have been killed and an elementary school in eastern India are sick after eating free food, a state government minister said Wednesday.
"It's sad, but feels that 20 children poisoned his lunch, after eating dead is true," Bihar State Education Minister PK Shahi, told AFP. Death toll rose to eight Tuesday and some 30 more children were sick in the hospital in Patna, the capital of the state, the minister said.
In the Tuesday afternoon incident investigation is under way in
Masrakh village in Saran district of Bihar state school.
Several hundred people protested against the state government
